MORTGAGE OFFICER
First Priority Credit Union seeks a motivated individual to fill the position of Mortgage Officer. This person will manages the origination and underwriting of mortgage and home equity loans, exercises assigned lending authority and performs a range of processing and servicing functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the origination and underwriting of mortgage and home equity loans.
- Assemble all mortgage and home equity loan files. Follows-up on missing items.
- Performs a range of servicing functions. Provides information and assistance to mortgagors.
- Supervise lending personnel.
- Perform any and all functions necessary for the achievement of prescribed objectives.
- Maintain familiarity and awareness as well as complete required training to insure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act as it pertains to the job position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred plus one to two year's residential loan-related management experience. Candidate must exhibit excellent communication, management, service, computer and organizational skills.
