First Priority Credit Union is a Massachusetts state-chartered credit union that began providing banking products and services to members in 1924. FPCU membership originally included United States Postal Employees, retirees and their family, but over the years has grown to include those that live or work in Suffolk and Essex Counties as well as certain cities and towns in Middlesex and Norfolk Counties (click here for a complete list).
First Priority Credit Union has two convenient branches located at Fort Point Station in Boston, and on Swift Street in East Boston and serves members from near and far. Once you become a member of First Priority Credit Union, you are welcome to remain a member even if the eligibility requirement that made membership possible changes (for example, if you were to move away).
First Priority Credit Union offers you the financial products you’d expect from a larger institution; the cost savings that banking with a credit union provides; and the comfort that comes when you bank with an institution that is a proud member of your community!
